Practice Resources
The Drugs and Alcohol National Occupational Standards (DANOS) were published in 2004. All PUYE training courses and certificates are mapped to the DANOS units and can be mapped to other sets of occupational standards on request. PUYE can conduct a training needs analysis of your service; recommend a sustainable training strategy involving training trainers and developing training programmes. PUYE can provide individual unit assessment and assist in registration for Continuing Development Awards (CDA�s), National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ�s) and the Federation of Drug and Alcohol Professionals (FDAP) Certification.
Research and Project Development
Prick Up Your Ears� consultancy service can respond to your planning needs, offering a community capacity building approach and drawing on evidence-based practice. We have experience in community regeneration, public consultation, bid writing, project appraisal, service development, policy and procedure writing, project management and evaluation.
Library and Consultancy service
Prick Up Your Ears has a library of over 100,000 articles, journals and literature in substance misuse. For a nominal annual fee PUYE will provide a library search service. Within 48 hours of any enquiry we will send you documents and references via return e-mail.
