KIMBERLIN, WINFRED ANN (HOURIGAN) THE STANDARD & TIMES, Thursday, June 30th, 1887 Mrs. M.D.L. Kimberlin died in Plum Grove township, Butler county Kansas, May 28, of complicated disease of the lungs, aged 60 years. She was the daughter of James Hourigan of this county and resided for many years in Washington county. She and her family removed to Kansas in 1871. She left a husband and eight children. |

ISAACS, DAVID DIED - HOWARD CO. MISSOURI on Jan 24, 1891 FAYETTE ADVERTISER--Mr. David Isaacs, one of the oldest citizens of Howard county, died on Saturday last, aged about 95 years. Mr. Isaacs came to Howard county from Kentucky in 1819 and located on the farm on which he lived until his death. He was an industrious and useful citizen, and was beloved by a large circle of friends. Note: This is the David Isaacs who married Grace Hourigan, the daughter of Patrick and Winna (Arnold) Hourigan. They married on May 5, 1818 in Washington Co. KY. Grace died by 3/25/1826 when David remarried to Dicey Lawless in Howard Co. MO. |

ISAACS, DAVID CHILLOCOTHE CONSTITUTION (CHILLOCOTHE MISSOURI) 1/27/1891 David Isaacs, one of the oldest and wealtiest pioneer citizens of Howard County, died last week, aged niney-five years. He was one of the party of fourteen who emigrated from Kentucky in 1819 to the then wilds of Missouri and erected Head's Fort, near Rocheport. |

HOCKER, JOHN M. (MR) MARION FALCON - 6/12/1908 WILL GO WEST - Mr. John M. Hocker has sold his farm to Mr. Ray Hourigan, and has advertised a sale of his personality. As soon after the sale as he can wind up his business, Mr. Hocker will move with his family to California. He was in California a few years ago but yielded to that longing for his native heath and returned to Kentucky. His many friends will regret to lose him and his family as citizens of Marion County, but as he will go, they trust that fortune may smile upon him in the Golden West. |

DAVIS, J. HERMAN (MR) MARION FALCON 10/2/1908 Mr. J. Herman Davis of Harrrodsburg on Wednesday afternoon filed suit against Mr. Apollus Hourigan of this county for $10,000. Mr. Davis married Mr. Hourigan's youngest daughter, Miss Dixie in February, 1906 and a suit for divorce instituted by her is now pending in the circuit court the grounds on which she relies is abandonment and failure to support. Mr. Davis claims that Mr. Hourigan alienated his wife's affections, etc. and sues for the above amount. Mr. Hourigan has not filed his answer which we are informed will be a complete denial of the charge made by Mr. Davis. |

HOURIGAN, NANCY (MRS) LEBANON ENTERPRISE 1/27/1911 Mrs. Nancy Hourigan celebrated her 85th birthday on the 15 inst. There was present a very large crowd of children, grandchildren and great-great grandchildren besides lots of other relatives. |
