Dexter Holland is- Vocals, Guitar
Dexter Holland the old drummer of the band went to the same high school as Greg K did : Pacifica High, and came from Garden Grove in Orange County California. Another thing in common they had was their favorite band being Social Distortion. As I said in the band bio, Dexter and Greg K wanted to start their own band but had no musical experience of some sort. Dexter was always considered a geek in school. Dexter wrote many of The Offspring's Songs on the road. Here's where the musically unexperienced changed. They got two members from their track team and made their own high school band called Manic Subsidal. Dexter being vocals and guitar, Greg K on Bass and the two other members had their fair share of work too. One of the members was James who was originally the old drummer until he never showed up for practices and they dropped him out. Their they met Noodles who is now the guitarist and backing vocals. Noodles was a former graduate of Pacifica High. There they met up with 16 year old Ron Weltywho is now the drummer. Thats when Dexter made The Offspring
