| FABF23 Treehouse of Horror XV 07 Nov 2004 The Ned Zone: Homer's attempts to dislodge a frisbee from his roof by tossing a bowling ball end up with a serious head injury for Ned Flanders, whose subsequent hospital trip reveals a brain tumor. After it is removed, whenever Ned touches someone, he gets an image of that person dying, and it soon becomes true (much to the dismay of Dr. Hibbert and Hans Moleman). When he sees himself killing Homer with a gun, he throws the gun Homer gives him into a wood chipper, only to have a vision of Homer causing a core explosion at the nuclear plant that eradicates Springfield. Four Beheadings and a Funeral: In 1890 London, Scotland Yard has a case even crack detective Eliza Simpson (and her assistant, Dr. Bartley) can't solve; the Muttonchop Murderer. With only a knife from the most recent attack as a clue, Eliza manages to track down the culprit after a chase through an opium den...but a subsequent killing shows that the real killer may still be on the loose. In the Belly of the Boss: Professor Frink invents a giant capsule that will supply vitamins for a person's lifetime, which he shrinks down and then gives to Mr. Burns. One small problem: just before the capsule was sealed, Maggie got inside it. Now, with only 30 minutes before Mr. Burns's stomach acids erode away the capsule (and Maggie), the other Simpsons must shrink down themselves and rescue Maggie from inside Mr. Burns's body. FABF20 All's Fair in Oven War 14 Nov 2004 When Marge sees the kitchen in the house next door and notices that her own kitchen is falling apart, she wants it redesigned. Her new kitchen prompts her to cook something for the church which turns out to be a big hit. Ned suggests that she enter the Ovenfresh Bake-off, which she does with a dessert that looks like hot dogs. Unfortuantely, her dessert dogs are sabotaged in the middle of the competition, however, she manages to salvage them and, finding herself all alone in the room with the other contestants' dishes, adds an extra ingredient to them - Maggie's ear drops. Lisa sees her do it. Marge confesses and withdraws, making Brandine the winner and the new face on the Ovenfresh logo, prompting her to run off with James Caan. Meahwhile, Bart and Milhouse find Playdude magazines (minus the nudes, which Marge cut out) and think that they can start acting like the bachelors depicted in the articles, complete with turning the treehouse into a bachelor pad. When the other parents tell Homer what has happened, he decides to explain to Bart what swinging bachelors do. Guest starring James Caan FABF19 Sleeping With the Enemy 21 Nov 2004 Marge thinks that Bart and Lisa aren't particularly happy with the way she is mothering them, especially after the lame party she puts together for Bart getting a 100 on a state capitals test. As for Lisa, the problem isn't Marge, but the fact that she thinks she has a big butt, probably because her friends, family, and mirror all say she does. One day, she notices Nelson getting himself something to eat - by grabbing tadpoles out of a fountain; she gives him Lisa's rejected lunch, takes him to the zoo, and drives him home. The next day Nelson mows the Simpson lawn, but Mrs. Muntz throws the money Marge paid him in her face. That night, Nelson is at the Simpsons' front door claiming that his mother left him to go to Hollywood to be an actress. Marge takes him in, and soon he is sleeping in Bart's room. Bart discovers that Nelson misses his father, and manages to find him. Eventually, Mrs. Muntz also returns - she finally got an acting job that only took sleeping with three directors to do it. FABF22 She Used to Be My Girl 05 Dec 2004 Marge recognizes a TV news reporter named Chloe as somebody she went to high school with but who went off to journalism school rather than stay with her boyfriend, Barney. Chloe's accomplishments enthrall the others, especially Lisa, who looks up to her much to Marge's dismay. Marge won't let Lisa attend a U.N. women's conference in Capitol City with her, although that doesn't stop Lisa from sneaking into the trunk of Chloe's car. However, when Lisa gets out she's not in Capitol City, but at the foot of the erupting Mount Springfield where she and Chloe are soon surrounded by lava. FABF21 Fat Man and Little Boy 12 Dec 2004 When Bart loses his last baby tooth, the tooth fairy leaves a note under his pillow saying that a donation was made in his name to a charity. Marge suggests that maybe that losing his last baby tooth means that Bart is no longer a boy. However, Bart cannot accept his new "manhood" status, until Lisa suggests that he do what she does - write things. Bart's choice is T-shirt slogans. After his T-shirt stand is torn down by the police and he can't compete with Krusty at a local novelty expo, he is accidentally hit by a car owned by Goose Gladwell, a local novelty salesman, who takes a liking to Bart's shirts and decides to make them himself. Meanwhile, Mr. Burns is in a particularly Scroogelike mode, seeing as how it's Christmas, so he fires Homer for sleeping on the job. Homer watches a nature documentary that shows that when a lion is replaced as the alpha male, it can either join the other older males or try to re-establish itself with another young cub, so Homer starts taking more of an interest in Lisa, complete with trying to run over Flanders with Lisa's Malibu Stacey car. When Martin shows Lisa the robot he is entering in the school science fair, Lisa realizes her project, which includes a model of the first nuclear reactor, pales in comparison; Homer takes it upon himself to "soup it up" a bit, turning it into a working reactor, complete with plutonium he "acquired" from the plant. When Goose sells the rights to Bart's shirts to Disney (so they can make movies based on the slogans) but keeps all of the money, Homer gives Goose a choice: either give Bart his share, or they'll all see what happens if Homer turns the dial on the reactor to "high". FABF16 Midnight Rx 16 Jan 2005 Mr. Burns is true to his word when he promises a nasty surprise for the company office party - he cancels the company's prescription drug plan. Homer has the solution: get some fake Canadian ID papers, go to Canada, buy cheap prescription drugs, and smuggle them back into the USA. When other companies follow Mr. Burns's lead and cancel their own drug benefits, Grampa, Ned, and Apu join Homer on his next trip, which ends up with the four of them being caught and subsequently banned from Canada. When Smithers's thyroid condition brings him to the brink of death Burns decides to take matters into his own hands and with the help of his plane, "The Plywood Pelican," they manage to make one final pickup. Burns, seeing the error of his ways, decides to restore the drug plan to his full-time employees and make Homer a freelance consultant. Bart needs a place to hide, and finds it in Kirk van Houten's apartment; he makes a call to Homer disguising his voice, but Wiggum traces it. The big day finally arrives and Selma gets her baby daughter, Ling. Selma suggests that Homer spend some time with Marge, unaware that the agent can see into their room; as Selma leaves, officials take the baby back. Lisa comes up with a plan to spraypaint Homer to look like a Buddha statue and leave it outside of the orphanage. When he is brought inside, he finds the nursery and takes Ling. When Marge tells Homer that she is in charge of the family finances, he takes the money she saved and makes a down-payment on an RV. Marge has finally had enough, and stops talking to him. However, it becomes clear that nobody in Springfield likes classical music. The building is sold to Mr. Burns and he turns it into a prison. One of its first inmates is Homer who soon becomes a snitch. Once word gets out, however, a phony jailbreak is leaked to Homer so the guards won't be around when the prisoners go after him.
