| An unplanned pregnancy can make us feel desperate to make quick decisions. Women who are considering adoption can take advantage of the several months of pregnancy to make sure adoption is the best option for them. There is no need to make a final decision right now. Take this time to investigate adoption. Do your research, and talk to birth mothers(visiting a Birth Mom's message board is a good way to gather info). I also recommend getting free counseling through a Crisis Pregnancy Center. They are not an adoption agency, and their focus will be on helping you do what you want. They can let you know of all the resources available to you. And if you choose adoption, they will give you referrals to the proper agencies. |
