Spotlight of the Week #2
Stats: Name: Joie Anne Newton From: Verona, NY - Yay VVS! Age: 21 Height: Shorter than me ('Course, many people are :-) ) Weight: A Woman Never Tells Likes: Having fun and hanging out with friends, Shopping, Horoscopes - Tell her your sign and she'll know everything about you!, I hear Jon has passed inspection, Dreams, Clothes, Being Tan Dislikes: Immature "boys", Feet, Scary guys chasing her and her friend around Sylvan Beach, A few of the things she's done in the past (don't we all!), Gossip (at least when she's not "in the know" :-) )
Where she's been: After spending time at school both down in South Carolina and up in Syracuse at Lemoyne, Joie has found herself back in Central New York. She's taking a little time off from school to make some money selling my mom shoes :-), and now, at an awesome bank job.
Where she's headed: Who knows where the wind will take this girl! My prediction is that her "dream job" will come to her literally in a dream, she'll head off to do that where she'll be whisked off her feet by Mr. Right and will go on to raise her own family.
Personality Traits: Fun-loving, Easy-going most of the time, Caring, Talented, Active.... Overall Joie is really a person who cares about pleasing others and making sure that everyone is being treated well and is having a good time
The friendship Joie and I have had has survived middle school dances, pep-rallies, "No Sleep" sleepovers complete with makovers and crazy phone calls (Victorias Secret?), high school graduation, and now the life AFTER VVS. Joie was the only one who never got sick of me gabbing about boys. Good friends, the ones you can always come back to, are the ones that are there no matter what went on in the past or where the furture may take you. The past doesn't matter. What does matter is how you choose to make up for it now. It's good to have people that can bring you back to your "roots". And if you don't believe we're good friends, look at this picture Jon took by accident..... Great minds think (or act?) alike?
