Where he's been:   Spent two summers in Japan <and I absolutely LOVE it when he speaks to me in Japanese, even though I don't understand a word  :-) >, Been at Cornell three years as an Electrical Engineer, Spent last summer in San Jose, CA and driving across the country twice, This year he was busting his butt as Cornell's HEV team leader and guided the team to a very successful two weeks at the FutureTruck 2002 competition
Where he's headed:  Jon's spending this summer back in wonderful Ithaca, NY where he'll find nothing but good company <wink>.  He'll be taking a few classes as well so that he can finish his Masters of Engineering early, at the end of next year!  After that, who knows, but sources tell me the "plan" includes the whisking of someone off to the other side of the earth (AKA:  California)  :-)
Personality Traits:  Loving, generous, FUN,  interesting, intellegent, intriguing, driven, dedicated, honest (sometimes "painfully" so :-) ), humerous, caring, eager, understanding, willing to try/do almost anything, supportive, a leader not a follower, "common sensical", active, sleep deprived :-).... need I go on?........
When you create so many wonderful memories with someone in such a short period of time, you know that something must be right.  It takes a special person to remind you of who you are inside and a special person to remind you of all the wonderful things about yourself that you had forgotten.   In just over a year, Jon and I have already shared enough memories to fill a lifetime and I can only look forward to what lies ahead.  For those of you who haven't gotten a chance to meet him yet, I hope you get a chance to soon.  For those of you who have, I'm sure you'll agree with me that he's a "rare breed", a truly wonderful person, and deserving of all of the good things in life.
Check back for the next SPOTLIGHT!  I already know who it is, but I'm not telling <wink>
