| Comments: This is NeoDorumon, a request for
GKmon. He's like any Dorumon but with a few small differences. His tail is longer and thinner, his claws are longer, his wings are bigger, and he has those blue stripes. I tried to make this Digimon look furry but first colouring in tiny circles, then using long, sweeping strokes. I think it turned out pretty well. Okay, so the blue stripes look a bit...funky, but they're not too bad. The wings and claws were coloured with Copic marker, and the light spots added with a correction fluid pen, very useful stuff. I left the eyes and stone blank when I scanned this in, and then added their colour in The GIMP. The background was also added in The GIMP, and took me quite a while to do. The diagonal stripes are in theory quite hard to do, as you have to maintain the space between each line. In my case, I'd already completed the horizontal lines, so simply copied them, turned them around, and stretched them out. It just saves time :D |
