Preschool Curriculum

Precious Angel’s curriculum combines all of the major areas of cognitive, scientific and social disciplines to help enhance your preschooler’s development: Art, pre-math, computer training, dramatic play, language, music, large and small motor, and social (learning how to get along with others.) Each of your children is tested to find out what they know and the things that we need to work on. After testing, we create a folder focused on these items.

Letter of the Month

Each month, we focus on the "Letter of Month." This study guide began in January 2006 with the letter "A." While this webpage is being developed, we are studying the letter "G" in July of 2006. Special events focused on the "Letter of the Month" may be a field trip, specific crafts, or other activities starting with the letter.

Daily Preschool Schedule

6:00- 7:00 children arrive, quiet time

7:00-8:00 clean-up/get dressed/wash up/school age kids eat breakfast

7:30 School age kids leave

8:00-9:00 read books/ quiet free play

9:00-11:00 Pre-school BEGINS

12:00-2:15 Nap and quiet time for teachers (at this time we get things cleaned

Up from lunch and get things ready for the kids and the rest of the afternoon)

2:15 WAKE-UP!! Put away mats and blankets. Wash up for snack.

2:30 SNACK TIME!!

2:40 School age kids return and have lunch

2:45-3:45 Choices!!! Computer, puzzles, blocks, coloring, play station, TV (Limited TV and computer time)

For school age kids: Educational choices, homework, craft projects, Outside play, computers, board games, or quiet reading.

4:00- 6:00 Outside play or large motor activities (depending on the weather)
