Dear Compatriots,
Having finished analyzing the Dotores Quislings, I am left with a deep and abiding sense of anger and of fury. A feeling that just will not go away, but which gnaws away at me, demanding action. Action to reverse the evil.
Up till now, we were faced with men (and women) who claimed to have been sincerely working for the liberation of Goa from the Portuguese. Putting myself in their boots - in the boots of Goans of before 1954 & 1961, I could and would strongly sympathize with them, with an endeavour to liberate Goa from Portugal's long and long-overstayed empire.
But then other factors come into play.
When we see the acts of 1954, we know beyond any doubt that the Indian Union is not a disinterested friend and that no sensible Goan could trust it and cooperate with it after the events of 1954. But, we see that these people refused to stop and to consider.
In fact, given the events of 1954, the 'freedom-fighters' ought to have stopped their activities in order to face a greater common enemy - the Indian Union.
But that is not what happened.
In fact, we note the close relation that these 'freedom-fighters' played in the events of 1954. Given this, we know beyond doubt that these self-styled 'freedom-fighters' were not so, but actually, merely traitors and agents for the enemy - the Indian Union.
A study of these people, of their mentalities and of their motivations show that they were passionately anti-Goan.
That is, they had become hypnotized by the Hindu, British Indian Indian National Congress's Pan-Indianism based on Hindu Pride. This is what Dr. Jose Francisco Martins's son, Dr. Shushrut talks about when he says, speaking of his parent: "he is adored as one of the few Goans who felt that their identity is separate, most prestigious and unique from that of the then rulers of Goa." Stress the words, "Most Prestigious".
When we study the Congress Movement, we see that its ideological moorings are Hindu Racism and its unability to come to terms with the fact that they were being ruled by those who are, according to their ideology, racially inferior to them!
The doctors Martins echo this viewpoint, not from the Goan perspective, but parrot the Hindu Congress!
It is this attitude that explains the slavish, brainless, mindless, thoughtless adherence by these vermin to the Indian line.
It is this attitude that explains why Dr. Jose Francisco, so named by his parents in the grand old Goan tradition should choose a name as "Shushrut" - the Hindu Aeschylus, for his son!
Certainly, I know that the same attitude was behind my being named Prakash - by my maternal uncle, Antonio Fernandes, then a Jesuit - a man who picked up that same bullshit ideology in seminary. Who believes that Konkani is a dialect of Marathi, and that we Goans are actually Maharasthrians!
It is this slavish, brainless, mindless, thoughtless adherence to the Indian line, which is actually the Hindu line, that is speaking.
This attitude is violently and passionately opposed to Goanism - the culture built up the synthesis of Portuguese and Goan cultures built on the bedrock of Christianity and of Christian de-paganisation and de-superstitionisation.
Goan culture is not ashamed of Portugal, but considers its connection to Lisbon its redemption and its glory.
Indian culture revels in the shit and vomit of paganism and superstition and resents Christianity and its hatred of superstition and idolatry.
Goan culture revels in the names of Christian saints. Indian culture revels in the names of the impious, lecherous and adulterous demons of Hinduism.
So now we know where these 'freedom-fighters' stand and for what they fought.
They did not fight for Goa. Certainly not. They fought to reclaim Goa for Hinduism and for darkness and for Satan.
To undo the work of the missionaries and of the saints - Goencho Saib - Sant Frahsis Shavier, Padre Juze Vaz, Padre Agnel de Souza, etc.
