Me and my Shadow

Me and my shadow are really quite a pair,
One go somewhere without the other?
We wouldn't dare!
We walk through this life one next to
the other,
More alike than twins or even a brother.

I will never be alone as he will always
be there
And every move I make my shadow will share.
He came to me on my very first day
And the rest of my life, by my side,
he will stay.

He never leaves me, he is always there
through thick or thin
And along this bumpy path through life,
by my side, he has always been.
My shadow shares my life and all that I do
And everyone has one...yes, even YOU.
