My Computer!
My life had become such a bore
As I sat here alone, staring at the door
Just me and the dog living all alone
For company the tv and the telephone.
Not very much going on to shout about
Seems every day was the same old route
My friends seemed to do the same things
Just wait to see what another day brings.
Then my daughter sent me a COMPUTER!!
And now I am forever grateful to her
Thought I could never learn this technology--
But with a lot of help, really surprised me!
This e-mail is really something great
And all these pages the kids do create
Now there aren't enough hours in a day
Keeping in touch with family far away!
COMPUTERS?????
Senior citizens should all have one
To fill their life with purpose and fun
But, addicted soon they would all be
How do I know?...Just look at me!
