As I sit here looking over the past
few years since you've been gone...
I miss you so-o-o
There were so many things left undone..
I wanted to say and didn't get to.
Why did you have to go then--
I wanted to come and talk to you
and just visit one more time.
If only I had known how quickly
things would be..
I would have found some way to
travel those many miles.
I wanted to tell you how much I
loved you!
This is a flower from the garden
of my heart...
I picked it just for you!
I can imagine you...
smelling its lovely scent,
touching its gentle petals
and seeing its beauty..

As We Mourn
As we mourn the loss of our loved ones
Tho there are words of love unspoken,
Grieving is a way of coping...
we are not alone
There are those who weep beside us
Angels tall and strong.
They wrap their wings about us,
warmth and comfort to us lend
Our torn and broken hearts, these
Angels of Heaven will help mend.
to us only known
We must be forever greatful for the
love that was shown.
We are not to bind ourselves up
with never-ending tears
But go forward being thankful
we had precious days and years.
an absolute must
But then let our grief be
comforted with heavenly trust.
It's only just a little while
that we must be apart...
