Our 25th Anniversary
Twenty-five years have passed
they've quickly come and gone
Since we pledged to each other
our lives to be as one.
It hasn't always been easy
there's been some ups and downs
But the most important thing is
our love still abounds.
We have love...precious love!
The joys of marriage are many
in which children play a part
But blending families together
can be tough at the start
Understanding and patience
are required this we knew
But acquiring such virtues
takes a real effort too!
It takes love...lots of love!
Along with the sunshine
there must be some rain
It takes a lot of nurturing
for love to remain
It takes an honest effort
neither can ignore
But unity and happiness
are worth striving for!
We need love...pure sweet love!
There are many surprises in life;
unexpected twists and turns
True love will only survive if
life's lessons can be learned
It's all in the giving...
that's what really counts
The other's happiness is
what love is all about!
We want love...real true love!
Now God said to the man..
it's not good to be alone.
He created woman from the man
and sanctioned them as one.
Keeping God in the center
helps to shun the wrong
His abiding presence is what
makes a marriage strong!
He gives love...perfect love!
