TCP Congestion Control Technique Based on Bandwidth Estimation

Existing TCP Congestion control techniques simply halves the congestion window size when congestion occurs. They cannot recover faster from multiple packet losses also. The proposed technique avoids this problem by estimating bandwidth at the time of congestion and varying the window size accordingly. Thus higher throughput than existing models is achieved.
