If Austria can pay for its part in supporting Nazi Germany and give reparations... Why can't Amerikkka do the same towards black people who are descendants of slavery?
In the Detroit Free Press - Thursdays, May 18th 2000 edition, an article was written by George Jahn (Associated Press) entitled: Austria agrees to compensate Nazis' Workers. In the article it mentions how concentration camp inmates who were forced to work y the Nazis in Austria during World War II will receive ONE TIME payments of nearly $7000 (U.S.) from a proposed compensation fund presented
May 17th 2000 by Austria, the United $tates and others who've drafted this plan. In a quote from the Detroit Free Press it was stated:
"We took a major step forward the time when dignified payments can be made to slave and forced laborers," said Deputy Treasurer Secretary Stuart Eizenstat. (Emphasis added).
If this can be viewed as 'dignified'... to pay for treating human beings as slave laborers and 'forced' to work, then how is it that the descendants of Afrikan slaves in Amerikkka denied compensation/reparations when Amerikkka enslaved a people for centuries and continues to make billions of kapital dollars off of, and from the labor of Afrikan slaves and their descendants' today? Why aren't anyone saying it would be 'dignified' to compensate Blacks in Amerikkka and everywhere where Europeans colonized, exploited and imposed their brutal rule over these people?
There will be a $393.4 million Austria compensation fund to be paid out by the Austrian government and companies that benefited from forced labor under the Nazis.
It is reported that Germany has set up a similar fund, totaling $4.6 billion. German government and its industries each contributed half the amount.
Attorneys in the U.$. have filed a class-action suit against Austria in a New York City court, seeking restitution of property stolen from Jews and other Holocaust victims of World War II. However, no attorney has filed anything for Blacks in Amerikkka who've suffered an ever greater Holocaust mankind ever witnessed against a people.
This is not a subject that should be ignored. It is a subject that must be discussed.
The Austrian people... the German people should, at least, recognize that their governments have made some attempt to right the wrongs their government had done towards the Jewish people, and also recognize that their governments played some role in the pillaging and colonization of Afrika.
But let us not stop there. Let us unitedly protest and fight for the compensation/reparations of the Afrikan slave's descendants. Black Peoples!
All of you conscious in Austria and Germany... stand with the millions and
millions of Blacks in Amerikkka who've also suffered and been victimized, and are still suffering from the perils of chattel slavery, Jim Crowism and racism.
The examples of the Austrian and Germany governments, and all governments who've acknowledged their role and participation in the atrocities against the Jewish people are hereby called upon to stand with Blacks in Amerikkka and all peoples who've suffered at the hands of a racist, fascist, imperialist government to see that real JUSTICE can prevail.
