| OK I know, you're asking yourself about my choice of music for this page right?? LOL Well, trucking really does have a hold on me! The words to the song "You've really got a hold on me" seemed to fit here! LOL I've had some great times on the road and some not so wonderful! The bottom line , trucking gets in the blood, it's what you do, it's a huge part of who you are. It grabs you and holds you and just won't let you go. I have some wonderful memories of my time on the road and wanted to share some of them with all of you. The beauty of long haul or OTR (over the road) trucking is that even though you're working, you get to see and experience some of the most wonderful things this country has to offer if you let yourself! You meet new people every day and if you open your heart and take even a minute to let them in you find that if nothing else, that person has become a wonderful part of your memories. That's why almost every long haul trucker has so many stories to tell, every day is a new experience, a new beginning. So come on along for the ride! I hope you enjoy your trip as much as I do every time I hit the open road. |
