"Father,
into Your hands I commend My spirit."
Then His bowed His head,
breathed His last and gave up His spirit.
At about 3 pm
on Good Friday, Jesus'
physical body died. Christ’s sacrifice was not pretty. We're overwhelmed when we try
to fathom His reason for it. He atoned for the sins of every one
who has ever lived through His suffering and death. It was your sins
and mine that put Him on the cross.
His gruesome suffering and
heartrending death testify to the extent of His love and
compassion for us. Christ, by His own will, chose to die to win our
salvation.~John 10:17-18

Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee;
Blessed are thou among
women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus crucified.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
