The Eucharist is a
sacrifice inasmuch as it is offered up, and a sacrament inasmuch as it is
received. In the Mass we offer ourselves to God, and God gives himself to
us. The Mass will be fruitful in the measure of our surrender to the
Father.

Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee;
Blessed are thou among
women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus who nourishes us with
HIs Body and Blood.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
