This was the
first time that Jesus had publicly used the power given Him. Such works are called "miracles."
Those followers who
were perhaps unsure of this man began to believe
in Him. Many witnessed this miracle which signified the beginning
of His ministry and revealed His glory. Also, by His
presence, Christian marriage was raised to the dignity of a Sacrament.

Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee;
Blessed are thou among
women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus who answers our
prayers.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
