On a certain day the Holy
Spirit told Simeon to go to the Temple. There he saw for the first time
the promised Christ. He took the little Child Jesus in his arms and
thanked God for letting him see the Redeemer.

Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee;
Blessed are thou among
women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus sacrificed.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
