The Third Joyful Mystery:The Nativity and the virtue, Poverty.

The Hail Mary - 4

During the months of her pregnancy, she sensed His presence and pictured His features. When at last she gave birth to Him, her eyes were able to gaze tenderly on the face of her Son, as she “wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger” (Luke 2:7).

Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee;

Blessed are thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus,
born in poverty.

Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.
