Mary replied: "My soul
proclaims the greatness of the Lord, and my spirit finds joy in God my
Savior."
In their individual
pregnancies, they were defying the laws of nature, an underlying theme of
this second mystery. In order for God to enter nature, nature itself was
interrupted.

Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee;
Blessed are thou among
women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus who
sanctifies us.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
