Mary grew up in Nazareth where few strangers visited. Although it had little wealth, culture and learning, life in that rural area was rich with life's deepest lessons; these would help to prepare her for her monumental role in the Incarnation.

Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee;

Blessed are thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus
incarnate.

Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

"Dear children! Also today, I call you to live my messages even more strongly in humility and love so that the Holy Spirit may fill you with His grace and strength. Only in this way will you be witnesses of peace and forgiveness. Thank you for having responded to my call." ~MoM, April, 2004, Medjugorje

"In the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a town of Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the house of David, and the virgin's name was Mary."
