Before
the descent of the Holy Spirit, the apostles were afraid. After they had
received the Holy Spirit, they were filled with courage and feared
nothing.
Having lost all fear, the apostles boldly
preached Christ crucified.

Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee;
Blessed are thou among
women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus who fills us with the
Holy Spirit.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
