Jesus
breathed upon them and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit."
He gave them the power to forgive sin.
Through confession, Jesus gives us our spiritual life, peace of
conscience, the strength to resist temptation, and a lasting joy.

Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee;
Blessed are thou among
women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus risen
from the dead.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
