idea came to me after doing a everyday search on the web, for what?
I forget. But does it matter? Anyhow, I stumbled across mp3car.com some
how, and was intrigued. I actually had a "car computer" at
the time. Although it wasn't custom in anyway. It was the Clarion AutoPC
and was limited in functionality and upgradability I wanted something
more, something that I - myself had created. Maybe not from scratch
but a custom job I could say I laid out and implemented, pure intervention.

Many
people ask "why?" Why in the world would you want a computer in your car?
Am I crazy?...Perhaps, but that's not why I put a computer in my car. I've
been interested with computers and technology ever since I was a young tot.
I just had to take everything apart and see what made it tick. This usually
wasn't the best idea, and in the end came out to many broken appliances.
But, anywhoo that's just my nature. So, in short, I'm a computer geek and
under most circumstances, it's not all that practical, but it is useful.
For instance it has voice navigation, endless mp3 files for ones listening
pleasure, and DVD for the long road trips. If you're still asking yourself
why -I don't know, maybe I watched too much Knight Rider when I was younger? |
