| Chapter 1: The Arrival Dr Will Simmons got into the driver's seat of his silver BMW and looked at his beautiful wife. Elizabeth was glowing tonight. She looked stunning in her strapless royal blue dress that she brought especially for tonight. She was wearing the pearl necklace and matching earrings that he gave her as an anniversary present. Her hair was swept up in a silver clip and her ankles looked shapely in her silver sandals with a two-inch heel. Elizabeth reached across and squeezed his hand. "Are you allright?" Elizabeth asked, gently. Will grinned at his wife. "Of course darling, I was just marvelling how gorgeous you look this evening, I'm going to be the luckiest man in the room to have you on my arm" Will commented. Elizabeth smiled too. "I'll be lucky too, to be on the handsomest man in the room's arm" Elizabeth added. Will leant close and they kissed lingeringly. Will pulled back reluctantly, sneaking a peek at the clock on the dashboard. It was time they were heading over to SVH. Will started the engine and pulled the car out of the parking lot of the restaurant, in the direction of Sweet Valley High. Jessica stepped out of Jeremy's black porsche. The door was held open by Jeremy. "You look gorgeous tonight, Jess" Jeremy husked, kissing her hand gallantly. Jessica felt as if she was floating on aid. Jeremy had gotten even more handsome over the years. She couldn't believe her luck. Jeremy was all hers. At least for tonight. "Shall we go?" Jeremy asked, offering her his arm. Jessica slid hers under his and they walked towards the entrance of the gymnasium. Will pulled up the BMW in the parking lot. He got out and helped Elizabeth out of her side. "Thank you sweetie" Elizabeth answered, brushing a kiss on her husband's cheek. Will smiled, lovingly at her. They were about to head for the door when Josh and Cherie pulled up beside them in Josh's red corvette. Josh jumped out and went around to help his wife out. Josh smiled at Will and Elizabeth. "Hey guys, how's it going?" Josh exclaimed, brightly. "We were just about to head inside" Will told him. "We'll come with you" Josh added, holding Cherie close to him. Will wrapped an arm around Elizabeth's slender waist. The foursome walked towards the gymnasium and stepped through the entrance. The first people they bumped into was Ken Matthews and Amy Sutton. "Liz, great to see you" Ken exclaimed, giving her a hug. Elizabeth hugged him back, winking at her husband. Ken saw Will next to her. "Dr Simmons" Ken said, jokingly. "Dr Matthews" Will answered, pretending to be formal. They laughed, shaking hands. Ken noticed that Amy had headed over to speak with Lila and Bruce Patman. Melissa Fox walked in without a date, seeing Will laughing with Ken which didn't bother her that much. It was who Will had in his arms that bothered her. "Liz Wakefield" Melissa thought in disgust "Little Miss Perfect, how dare she steal Will from me". Melissa walked over to Cherie and Lila. She had a plan to devise. |
