| Josh Radinsky How can I be so mad yet so in love with Liz at the same time? I wanted to listen, I really did but I wanted her to believe that I was upset at her as well as Will. I definitely want to beat that guy to a pulp. And I would if he wasn't my best friend. Why does life have to be so complicated? Chapter 9: Conflicts Josh stopped by Will's house to sort out what's going on. Will was surprised to see him. "I guess you've come to beat me up?" Will said. "No, I want to but I won't" Josh replied, breathing out slowly. "I've decided to reason with you". "Have a seat" Will offered, gesturing to the chair opposite him. Josh sat down, clasping and unclasping his hands. "Do you have an explaination why you kissed my girlfriend?" Josh asked, evenly. "Liz has been such a good friend to me lately, being caring and understanding. I'm lonely without Liss and at a moment of weakness I kissed Liz" Will explained "It will never happen again, I'm sorry Josh". Josh nodded, clearing his throat. "Will, I'll forgive you this time. But you must understand just seeing Liz with another guy, you...made me realise that I'm serious about her. I can admit that I love her, I've never felt this way about anyone before" Josh confessed. Will's eyes widened. "Not even Fowler?" Will inquired. "Not even Lila" Josh affirmed. "I was never in love with Lila, not ever. But Liz I've never met anyone like her, she likes me for myself". Will smiled at him. "You go get her, man" Will said, solemnly. Josh stood up. Will rose to his feet as well. The two guys hugged quickly, patting each other on the back. "See you in school" Josh told him. "Good luck, man" Will added. Josh clapped him on the shoulder. Elizabeth sat on her bed, reading a book for English class. To her surprise, Todd walked into her room. "Hi Liz, I just wanted to stop by and give you this" Todd exclaimed, handing her his finished essay for Quigley's class for her. Elizabeth looked down and smiled. "Thank you so much for doing this for me, Todd" Elizabeth said, giving him a hug. "I really appreciate this" "Have a read of it and tell me what you think. I have to go get some things for my mother. I'll see you in school tomorrow" Todd told her. "Okay, bye" Elizabeth said, smiling at him. Todd smiled back and left her to get back to her reading. She read the essay to herself. When she had finished, she had tears streaming down her cheeks. Todd had done a wonderful job for her. After his talk with Will, Josh went home first before he went to Elizabeth's. He knew exactly how to finish Will's essay. Josh picked up his pen and filled the page. When he was done, he headed for the mall to get some flowers for Elizabeth after he changed his clothes. He had some making up to do. |
