| Elizabeth Wakefield I Love Josh Radinsky. I am in love with him. I'm going to tell him. Tomorrow at school. I just hope he'll give me a chance to explain. I don't want to lose him. Chapter 10: Forgiveness is Devine Josh knocked on Elizabeth's front door. Jessica answered it, seeing him standing there. "Hi Josh, you can go up and see her if you want" Jessica offered, gesturing to the staircase. Josh thanked Jessica and headed towards Elizabeth's bedroom. Elizabeth was seated on the bed, reading something when he approached. Josh rapped lightly on the door with his knuckles. Elizabeth looked up, her eyes lit up when she saw it was Josh. "Hi" Elizabeth said, shyly. "Are you ready to let me explain?" Josh moved closer. "Sure" Josh said, slowly. He sat on the edge of her bed. Elizabeth sat next to him, taking his hand in hers. "I'm sorry it happened. Will kissed me and I sort of let him" Elizabeth confessed. "But the truth is, all I could think of was how much I love you" Josh looked deeply into her eyes. "I love you too, Liz. I'm only at the beginning of loving you" Josh said, huskily, quoting Larry Paul off Ally McBeal. "Liz, I've never felt this way about anyone. I forgive you. I spoke to Will and forgave him too". Elizabeth nodded, stroking his hand. "I don't want to lose you" Elizabeth said, quietly. "Liz, would you go steady with me?" Josh asked, deeply. "Oh Josh, yes, I'd love to" Elizabeth replied, throwing her arms around him. Josh bent his head and kissed her passionately. "I love you, Liz" Josh said, softly. "I love you too, Josh" Elizabeth answered. They kissed again more deeply. Elizabeth snuggled in Josh's arms, enjoying his nearness. "Liz, you want to see a movie or something?" Josh asked "We could go back to my place and watch one on the TV while sitting on the basement couch?" "I'd love that" Elizabeth accepted. Josh took her hand and they went out to Josh's car. Elizabeth told her parents where she was going and she introduced Josh to them. Josh opened the door of his car for Elizabeth. He got into the drivers side himself, started the car and drove off towards his house. It was a new start for Josh and Elizabeth. Will and Josh were still friends. Everything worked out after all. |
