| Will Simmons I'm in love with Liz Wakefield. I'm doomed. She's Josh's girlfriend and I'm flirting with her. The worst part is that she's acting like herself. I have to show her how I feel, so she can make an informed decision. Chapter 8: Clueless Elizbeth hugged Will back, patting his back, about to let go when she felt his lips on her bare shoulder. "Will" Elizabeth whispered, slowly pulling away slightly. "Just let it happen, Liz" Will breathed, his face close to hers. The next thing she knew, Will's lips were upon hers, kissing her gently at first and then more lingeringly, exploring her mouth with his. Elizabeth wanted him to stop but on the other hand, she wanted to kiss him back. Elizabeth pressed closer, kissing him back. Josh walked along the sand, looking for Elizabeth. Then he saw her in the arms of his best friend. Will was kissing his girlfriend. Josh paled in shock. All week, he was having vibes that Will liked Elizabeth too, but he dismissed them as being silly. He knew now that they weren't silly at all, but extremely accurate. Josh wasn't sure if he should approach them. Will released her slowly, wanting to know what she was feeling. Elizabeth was as white as a sheet, looking down the beach. Will turned around to see Josh standing there, shocked. Elizabeth stood up and started to head over to Josh. Josh shook his head and stormed off down the beach. Elizabeth's head dropped. Tears welled up in her eyes, spilling down her cheeks freely. Will got off the rock, coming up behind her. "Liz, I'm really sorry" Will apologised. Elizabeth looked up at him, wiping her eyes. "Just stay away from me, you ruined everything" she sobbed, hysterically. Elizabeth ran down the beach in the direction Josh has just left in. A lump rose in Will's throat. Elizabeth was right, he had ruined everything, between himself and Josh, himself and Elizabeth as well as Josh and Elizabeth. Was it all worth it? Elizabeth saw Josh heading for the carpark. She ran towards him. "Josh, please, let me explain" Elizabeth begged. "I don't think so" Josh intercepted, cutting her off. "I'm not in the mood to listen right now. Maybe tomorrow" Josh got into his car and sped off. Elizabeth sank down on a nearby log and cried. She ruined what they had. She'd lost Josh forever. Josh pulled the car over to the side of the road. He didn't want to drive mad. He had to think things over. How did he really feel about Elizabeth? |
