| Elizabeth Wakefield I had the greatest evening with Josh last night. He is such a good kisser. Being with him felt so amazing. I noticed Will was so down last night. I really wanted to talk to him but I got sidetracked. In the past, I fell for someone too fast. This time, I'll take it as it comes. If Josh doesn't want to get serious yet, then neither do I. At least not yet. Chapter 7: The Beach A lot of Sweet Valley crowd went to beach for the afternoon the next day. It was Senior Ditch Day. Elizabeth was sitting on a blanket with Tia, Andy, Will and Jessica. Jeremy, Josh, Todd and Aaron decided to go for a swim. Elizabeth was laying on her stomach in a blue bikini, Will was rubbing suntan lotion on her back. "A little to the left" Elizabeth advised. Will moved his hand to the left. Jessica looked over at them, laughing. "Hey slave boy, while you're at it, you should do the rest of us" Jessica joked. Will shook his head. "Sorry, but I think I have to go for a walk before I get a cramp" Will told them. He slowly stood up, grabbed his crutch and walked towards the water. Elizabeth watched him go. "Do you think he'll ever play football again?" Elizabeth asked, turning back to the group. "For sure, he's doing better everyday" Tia exclaimed, gesturing in his direction. "Yeah, he's only using one crutch instead of two" Jessica added. Elizabeth turned to lay on her back. Josh ran from the water and swooped down on Elizabeth, pouncing on her, kissing her madly. "Wow, I could definitely get used to this" Elizabeth said, smiling sunnily up at him. Josh rubbed her nose with his. "Then why don't you?" Josh replied, huskily. They kissed again, passionately. Elizabeth was floating on air. "Oh, get a room" Aaron groaned. Josh threw a handful of sand in his direction. Aaron turned his back, laughing. Elizabeth held a hand out to Josh. Josh stood up and pulled her to her feet. "I think I'll go for a walk" Elizabeth said, brightly. She pressed a firm kiss on Josh's lips and walked off down the beach. Josh admired her long legs beneath her denim shorts. Elizabeth saw Will seated on a rock, staring out at the ocean. "Hey stranger, why so blue?" Elizabeth asked, coming up and sitting beside him. "Melissa, who else?" Will said with a small laugh. "I saw her with Ken last night too" Elizabeth answered "Are you okay?" "Um, I don't know" Will said, honestly. "On one hand, I'm as jealous as hell, on the other hand I'm glad she's happy". "Will, if it makes you feel any better, I think Ken is losing interest. He keeps shooting glances in Maria's direction" Elizabeth admitted. Will gave her a smile and took her hand. "Liz, I'm glad I have a friend like you to help me through it. Thank you" Will exclaimed. Elizabeth gave him a hug. "You're welcome" Elizabeth whispered. "I'm also glad to have a friend like you". Will pressed a kiss on her bare shoulder. |
