Time Traveling Back
As I time travel back, I try to think of what to say to the great Albert Einstein. Everyday, during his golden age, this man has been using his great mind on the world. He is the man who founded the equation, E = MC ^2. His golden age ranged from 1900-1920. I hear the screeching of time as I go back in time, and by the time I reach 1910, my ears are ringing. Albert Einstein, was sitting down, writing an essay. He was a handsome man, aged about 25, with black hair and a mustache. He was about 5 feet and 5 inches tall, about the same height as me. He was not that energetic, as he saved his mind to discover new variables and think about E = MC ^2. He had just founded this equation on September 27, 1905. As I walk toward him, I wonder what to ask him about his discoveries.
As I start the interview, I ask him, "How did you find the equation E = MC ^2?"
Einstein answers by saying, "I actually made the equation up. I made a wild stab. I woke up to the conclusion and exclaimed that it must be it! I made it all up and it was correct! This has impacted my life greatly and I'm still exhilarated about it! I jump out of bed every day and say, Eureka!"
I next ask him, "What is the best part of being a scientist?"
He exuberantly replies, "The best part of being a scientist is to discover new things and perform experiments! It is fun to do so because it allows me to take my mind off my studying, but also do experiments to keep me warmed up as I take my break from my real experiment." Einstein continues, "I feel like that you as well, will become a physicist, as I think that you are an excellent student and have a bright future that contains many great things for you to come!"
The final critical question I ask is, "Did you ever fail a test as a teen or student?"
He answers sensitively by saying, "I failed a test in high school. It was horrible. I was trying to get into the Swiss Polytechnic University in Zurich but I failed the ETH exam that made me take my final year of high school again. This impacted my life a lot because I thought I was a failure at that point and luckily, I managed to get in Zurich the year after, due to me passing the test and getting into the University. It was very good that I passed the test and my family was proud of me.
As I go back to my time period, I think about how Einstein has influenced me and how he has played a huge role in my life. It was a pleasure to have met the great man, and how this would affect the physics world today. If there were more physicists like Einstein, the world would be in great prosperity and thrive in the fields of science.
