I know that these explanations are often long and boring, so I'll try to keep it short. First of all, I am Melissa Potter, the webmistress. Anything on the site that is listed under that pen name is written/drawn by yours truly.
In this section, I am going to give a brief explanation of each section of the site as listed on the left.
Home: This leads back to the homepage, where all updates will be posted. There is also a box under the updates section which you can enter your e-mail address into in order to receive notices when the site is updated.
Read This First: Does it really need explaining?
Fan Fiction: Here, you will find stories written by Harry Potter fanatics. Most are about Harry Potter, but it's not a rule.
Poetry: These are poems submitted to the site. Again, they don't have to be Harry Potter related.
Fan Art: This is art that has been sent in. Yet again, it doesn't necessarily have to be related to Harry Potter.
Other Works: This is for submissions that don't fit into any other catigory. Non-Harry Potter related items are welcome.
My LJ: Serpent Eyes: This is a link to my own personal livejournal. It's for anyone who's interested in what's going on in my life. Sometimes I'll also post my own works there before I get a chance to put them here.
Submission Rules: A list of guildlines to sending in items. Please visit this section, as it will save a lot of time and headaches on my part.
Message Forum: This is my attempt to make this site more interactive. Here, you can talk with other Harry Potter fans about the books, the movies, your favorite fan fictions, and more.
Chat: This is another way to interact with others at this site. Since this isn't a commercial site with tons of visitors, I may schedule chat sessions from time to time so that we can get some use out of it.
Links: This part of the site is multi-functional. It serves not only to link to other Harry Potter sites, but to fun sites and resource sites for writers (both of fan fiction and original stories). Of course, it is catagorized for easy navigation.
