Personally, I'm not sure how to feel. I've wated nearly half of my life for this day...and yet, I wish I had a bit more time. More time to speculate, more time to reread, and more time to experience the fandome that is Harry Potter.
However, I always hoped this would be when it happened. In one month, I start college. Everything I once knew and loved will seem like a distant past. I wanted nothing more than for Harry Potter, the most integral part of my childhood, to end right before that new chapter. It signifies the end, and I will be able to celebrate its release with my closest, Potterhead-iest friends!
How will it end? Some know for sure, as there are numerous leaked copies online and a plethora of early, embargo-breaking, journalistically unethical reviews out. Whether or not all of these "real" copies are genuine remains to be seen, but thusfar I have remained unspoiled, and I hope I can keep it up.
While there is a lot of evidence for the "Harry is a Horcrux" theory, I do not believe he is. I believe that he and Voldemort will die simultaneously. I believe that Lupin will die, Ron and Hermione will survive, get married, and have many children. Ginny will be devistated by the loss of Harry, but find a way to move on, and the wizarding world will be at peace. Whether or not that all happens...will be known at 12:01 AM! Enjoy this day!!! You'll remember it for the rest of your lives!
