This page is for various acquaintances who may have been directed to my website. The information contained on this page pertains to some of the questions I get most often, in addition to a few others that I don't get asked directly but am sure people would like the answers to. If you have a question that is not answered here or anywhere else on the site, feel free to e-mail me at [email protected]. In the meantime, here we go with the ones already up here and the idiotic responses I have for them. Please note that the answers provided here are merely factual, and conclusions should not be immediately jumped to.
What's up?
Nyeh...not much.
It's garbage night!!! (spoken by my mother)
What? Again? How'd that happen?
("Garbage night" is defined as the night before the garbage collectors come through our part of Suburbia; on this night, weahemI empty all the trash in the house and bring the outside bin to the street.)
How do you feel about girls?
Very lightly, with just the tips of my fingers....
Do you ever have dj vu?
Yes.
Why don't you talk very much like everyone else?
Simple: I usually don't have much to say.
What do you do in your spare time?
Spare time? Ha ha ha ha ha...that's a good one. (In fact, I guess I run this website and write songs in whatever spare time I can find, i.e. none at all.)
Do you have a girlfriend?
Nope. I'm (still) wide open........
Where are you going to college?
University of Illinois.
What are you majoring in?
Mathematics and Computer Science. In all honesty, I don't know why I want to get a computer science degree from a university that can't get any of its online systems to work (more on that here).
What's your favorite food?
Breyers Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream. (In fact, I like most desserts, but this one in particular--covered with whipped cream, chocolate syrup and/or hot fudge, and a cherry.)
What kind of music do you listen to?
Just about anything that is NOT widely popular among today's teenagers, although I do have a particular fondness for songs of protest and psychedelia from the Sixties, and, even more particularly, the obscure stuffthat is, the stuff that no radio station may ever play again, with corporations such as Clear Channel engaging in a global takeover of FM radio. In fact, you can hear some of this music at techwebsound.com, among others, I'm sure. In addition, my old station of choice (before they fired Allan Stagg), Chicago's Drive, has a new 'net-only "deep tracks" station, although I question the depth of some of those tracks.
Do you ever have dj vu?
Yes.
What do you think of the latest pop culture sensation?
Corporate bull$#&@.
What's your favorite color?
Tie-dye. (So that's usually more than one color. Big deal.)
Who's your favorite Traveling Wilbury?
Dylan...no doubt about it.
Cubs or Cardinals?
Cubs!
What is your philosophy on life?
Follow your instincts, and do what comes naturally for you, but try not to become a republican if you can help it.
What's your favorite book?
In fact, I have two favorites. One is The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. Large books with each installment in the paperback series and a bonus short story about Zaphod are available in your local bookstore ("The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide"). My other favorite is George Orwell's 1984, which may have been a few years off, but is otherwise stunningly accurate.
Awesome photo, dude.
Thanks. I inverted the colors, added a message, and submitted it to the Sorry Everybody website. It is photo number 7797.
How can I get you alone?
Go to the bank and ask for one. That's how.
Do you ever have dj vu?
Yes.
What are you doing this weekend?
Either sleeping, eating, or working. Possibly all of these.
Is there anyone that you find particularly attractive?
People with two X chromosomes. Those people are cool. I'm especially attracted to the ones wearing tie-dye.
What's your favorite Beatles album?
Probably Sgt. Pepper, although Revolver is also good. It depends on what mood I'm in at the time. Magical Mystery Tour has its moments as well, as do Help and...ah, heck, they're all great.
Where do you work? (Translation from Wingdings font: Where do you work?)
Baskin & Robbins.
Can I get a glass of water? (Translation from Wingdings font: Can I get a glass of water?)
Absolutely. The water is in a cooler next to the restroom door with cups next to it.
Do you ever have dj vu?
Okay, the joke's over now.
Favorite film?
It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.
Favorite TV show?
Ummm...let's see...The Daily Show...Monk...Cubs games...Whose Line is it Anyway...and, just as everybody else, the Simpsons. (I've lost my cable, so I can't exactly watch everything anymore, but, then again, I'm too busy for that sort of thing anyway. I don't know how I find time to run a website. Matter of fact, I don't think I do.)
What's that on your shirt?
Hm? Oh, the thing that says "DK 08" on it? Just a little button I made for myself. "DK" stands for "Dennis Kucinich."

Well, I hope that answers all of your questions. If not, my e-mail address appears toward the top of this page and on the main page.
