This barcode on my arm
I�ve placed it there myself
Because I have been charmed
Can�t be good for my health
Stolen away, I�ve been
Taken from myself, so green
These thoughts invade my dreams
Where every word, unclean
Takes me where I want to be
It makes my throat and chest so warm
To feel it slipping down and down
As I stare at the black mark on my arm
I dream of doing myself harm
I see your broken crown
And I don�t care
But still I stare
When I see you�ve fallen down
I can wash this off, away
This black mark on my arm
But still your silent face will stay
The desperate words you sing, so grey
An electric, violent storm
You penetrate my soul
Turning it to coal
And ember burning, smoulders warm.
