Sunshimmer is a special mail-order pony with bright red and orange hair. Her eyes are cerulean, blue and light blue with a pale orange heart. Her hoof heart is pink and her symbol is an orange jewel with pink and yellow sun rays around it. She could only be bought with 16 pony points through mail order and was released in 2004.
