We meet every Wednesday Night at 6:00 PM at the South Miami Police Station at 6130 SW 72 Street. Meetings usually last from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. This will vary depending on what kind of training or function we may be participating in that night. If you think that you might be interested in finding out what the Explorer Program is all about, you are welcome to attend a meeting, or send us your comments or questions on our Information Request Form. We are looking forward to hearing from you. We have several events planned for our post.
February 24 and 25: Craft Show - 10 am to 5 pm March 2001: Fundraiser event for possible summer Disney Trip !! We are looking ahead to the future of our Explorer Post activities. Every year, during the Summer, there is a week long event held in another city outside the State of Florida. This is when all of the Explorer Posts get together and have several competitions in every area that they have trained in all year long. This is why the training and consistency is so important. This is the opportunity for the Post to earn trophies, medals and awards. This is a lot of fun and a great experience for all involved. |
