Welcome To My Pages Let me introduce myself to you. My name is Rosina Medd . I have become a fledgling genealogist in the past four years and hopefully this will lead you to some family members that you knew already or perhaps a discovery that was an unknown factor in your family's history. My research has taken me to four branches of my family tree and each one of them has it's own interesting stories and findings. These are the McNamara's, the Cogswell's, the Proctor's and the Perry's(originally Poirier). Perhaps some idea of who I am and where I come from would be a good start. I am the oldest of six children, four girls and two boys. Our parents were born and brought up on the beautiful island of Cape Breton, in the province of Nova Scotia, Canada. My dad was in the Canadian Armed Forces which means we travelled and lived in a few places. We consider that we were lucky enough to have not been moving every couple of years like a good number of service families must do, but I think for the most part it made us pliable enough to be able to make friends where ever we are and in what ever circumstances we find ourselves. |

| At this time I would like to acknowledge a few people that have helped me with this research. The biggest thanks goes to cousin Lester Morgan, who helped me piece these families together. Also to members of my family who put up with me digging and asking question after question. I'm sure I must have bored them to tears. Also thanks to cousin Howie for the old pictures of folk since gone. And finally I would like to thank my friend Margaret , in Australia , who helped me get this site off the ground. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
