What I Think About
Bugs! I think about them all the time! They're so gross and creepy in all of the manifold shapes and sizes! Here are some key points about bugs that make me upset:
Most americans (and some select
middle eastern cultures) find their multitude of eyes very exotic
and yucky, and to this I must admit I am also guilty. Recently,
however, after spending many hours not eating (because I was grossed
out) in various piles of dirt, I've noticed many other characterists
that make me dislike bugs.
They have weird mandibles
usually. Some have big ass teeth, others these icky looking chomper-things
(like what beetles have). They also have more noble chins than
most mammals, which is not necessarily something that creeps me
out about them but is important nonetheless.
And what about the sounds that
they make that may or may not be their regional bug dialect, or
accent? Well, they all sound the same to me; like a tiny, angry
man saying, "I'm gross! I get all over everything and I'm
creepy, too!" Albeit, the few conversations I've tried to
have with bugs have failed miserably, but that's probably because
half the time I'm using some oddball colloquialism or
putting on a fake accent of my own. I suppose I should enunciate
better around bugs.
In conclusion, I hope no bugs find this article because it might spur them to creep me out in new, sexy ways. I wish I didn't think about bugs so much, but they're just so gross!
