During this summer break I decided that it is a right time to build on my experience with HTML and JavaScript. I did not consider myself a programmer (To be very frank it is true that I have very less knowledge of CFML, JavaScript and HTML etc., But I have command over many tools which can provide pure assistance to make a fully database driven website using some application server technology). Really this is not the right time to argue that whether we should solely depend on these tools or must learn the basics of the different associated programming languages. I can assure you that you can prepare a fully database driven web site using some application server technology with out having command over the programming languages (But for this you have a collection of different soft wares as well as a collection of scripting programming codes). My true passion lay in how to make things beautiful and more communicating so that the other person can persuade it easily according to his/her need.
I decided ColdFusion is my best bet – the language seemed to parallel closely the constructs of HTML, and I found it easy to pick up. However it is also true that ColdFusion has it’s limitation in terms of accessing a server’s file system, and error handling, posed problems.
My guess is that if you will read the whole things
carefully, you will get a lot of benefits from my writings. Any way you can
be an advanced HTML and JavaScript developer looking to take the next step.
Perhaps you may be a seasoned PHP, JSP. ASP veteran who wants to know what
all the fuss is about. Whatever the case, I’ m sure you‘ll find
this literature helpful in learning for website development.
