July the Club, in co-operation with the Rotary Clubs of Balmoral, Carindale,
and Moreton Bay and with the assistance of the
Queensland Kite Flyers Society Inc will be involved in the Brisbane Festival
International Kite Festival on the
Murarrie Recreation Reserve on Wynnum Road, Cannon Hill from 11 am to

p m This project is supported by the Brisbane City Council under its "Liveability Program" This will be a much bigger day than the last two years due to the increased sponsorship |
Sunday 7th
September 20087 the Club will again be involved in the Sunday Mail- Suncorp Bridge to
Brisbane Fun Run where the Club operated the six water points on the course
and controlled the parking at short course of Nudgee Road . With more than 39000 expected participants our resources will be put to the test but a great time will be had by all and the new Finish at the Exhibition Ground will be exiting The Club will need 75 people working to provide these services including families and "Friends of the Club". |
