LOYALTY BAY STILL ON EDGE.
Pleasantview neighbour still a dangerous place to be.

Report by: Tony Williams
PFT News, Loyalty Bay

The neighbourhood of Pleasantview is still on edge as a fourth day passes with more sporadic rioting, and more fires being set.

Riot police, now on virtually every street corner of this neighbourhood have been increasingly putting pressure on the federal government to find a long term solution to this problem.

The recent announcement by the nation that they would be holding a soccer tournament in the meantime did not help to ease tensions in the city of Loyalty Bay where fans and hooligans spilled onto the streets when the news was first announced that the nation would be setting up a tournament that would run concurrent to World Cup 27.

'It's stupid', noted one irate fan.  'We should be in World Cup 27, but cause them Locke Harbour whimps could not tolerate the crummy officiating you can't have the true soccer powers of the nation represented at the World Cup'.

Most other fans, though not as forgiving with World Cup officials, were still furious with the nation for stating that the tournament would happen in the capital instead of Loyalty Bay.

'We breath, eat, sleep football', yelled one fan during protests on the streets of Loyalty Bay.  'What do they [Locke Harbour residents] like, rugby, well let them have their barbarism you hear me and save the football for us!'

Meanwhile, international signups for the soccer tournament did not seem to be fairing well.  Whether due to boycott, or just plain not wishing association with the sullied name of PopularFreedom, it appeared that this latest foray by the nation would end in failure.

Sporadic rioting continues in the Loyalty Bay neighbourhood of Pleasantview.
