Project Overview: The internet website was designed to improve the business processes in the Logistics/Warehousing industry.

Technical Overview: MS DNA Architecture was used to put together the overall system. The Business objects running on the MTS Server were developed using VB & connected to the SQL DB via ADO.

Lucent Technologies Electronic Commerce Services

Project Overview: The Lucent Technologies E-Commerce Services website hosts the Invoicing System, Quotes System, Order Services, SBC Wireless Bulletin Board . The purpose of the Invoicing System is to allow Customer’s of Lucent to make payments/disputes online for any Products purchased.

Technical Overview: The "InvoiceLoad" program (as the name suggests, loads the invoices sent from the Mainframes in the form of Pipe-delimited / EDI format Input Files, onto the MS SQL Server) with certain customizations. The MTS Components (ActiveX Objects) developed in VB6.0 are installed to run on the Microsoft Transaction Server (MTS2.0). The web pages are developed using ASP technology using ActiveX Scripting (VBScript on the Server-side & Jscript on the Client-side) which calls the MTS components to provide the desired behavior. The hardcopy format of the Invoices are generated in the browser using Crystal Reports which the Customer can use to print a pre-formatted hardcopy

JAN 99 – FEB 99 (VSoft Corporation, Atlanta)

Prototype - Cold Extraction

Project Overview: The prototype called "Cold Extraction" was developed for a product being offered by VSoft Corporation. The Product was intended to shorten the duration required for searching large reports generated by Banking firms (Central Carolina Bank, CCB), for transactions pertaining to Customers across all their branches, by taking snapshots of the keyfields (already maintained for each Report) from the Mainframes onto the Oracle DB. The product was aimed at providing faster Online access to a Customer’s request (pertaining to transactions etc.) over the Internet, by the internal customers across all the branches.

Micro Transaction Management System (MTMS32)

Project Overview: The MTMS was produced in 1985 and was widely implemented in Citibank. It is to be found in over 1000 customer sites, supporting a great variety of banking applications. The original DOS implementation was outdated & as a result Citibank had decided to re-implement MTMS on a "Win32" (Win95 & NT40 or above) environment. The objective was to re-implement the facilities that have been essential to the CEEMEA electronic banking (TI) strategy, making them available in the modern environment. These were:

Technical Overview: MTMS uses two separate groups of components to fulfill it’s objectives. There is a set of tools (an Application Generator) specifically crafted to support the speedy production of banking applications. The tools are designed to cater for the three aspects of transaction processing:

Smart Card Prototype for E-Commerce

Project Overview: The smart card prototype was developed to demonstrate the ability to do E-Commerce on the Net.

Technical Overview: It involved the development of ActiveX Components & ActiveX Controls which provided the required integration of the Smart Card & the Internet technology. The prototype was also integrated with existing Internet (E-Commerce) applications in order to demonstrate the dual access of certain sensitive & personalized information via normal login process as well as using the Smart Card in a secure manner. The Smart Card stored the personal information of the card holder, transaction log, balance amount etc. among other things..

Executive Information System (EIS)

Project Overview: The state of the art Intranet System was developed for the purpose of providing Online access (Univ. Information) to the top executives of the University, over the Intranet.

Technical Overview: The components (of the various modules) used RDO2.0 to connect to the MSSQL DB, wheras the ASPs used ADODB to connect to the MSSQL DB. The Intranet System had an advanced Security Management System (SMS), more or less similar to the NT40 OS, plus some additional features, specific to the requirements. This component was tested to run on MS Transaction Server (MTS1.0). The major features incorporated in the SMS were:

Mahidol Intranet System

Project Overview: The state of the art Intranet System was developed for the purpose of providing Online Access to the entire Universities information, over the Internet. The various Departments in this University were the Student Services, Personnel, Finance, Administration, Stock, Research & Academics, Public Relations, Policy and Planning and Foreign Relations.

Technical Overview: Rational Rose case tool was used to design the system. The components used RD02.0 to connect to the Oracle DB, whereas the ASP’s used ADODB to connect to the Oracle DB. The Intranet System was also incorporated with a C2 Level conformance Security Management System (SMS). This component was developed to run on the MS Transaction Server (MTS1.0).

Platform Plus (Ver 1.1) – BackOffice

Project Overview: Platform Plus is a Banking Software, For International Personalized Banking (IPB) and Global Consumer Banking (GCB), developed for Citibank, Singapore.

Technical Overview: Out of the various Products & Services offered, such as Time Deposit, Mutual Funds, etc., Option Linked Deposit System (OLDS) was a product offered by Citibank. OLDS is a Time Deposit except that the Interest which the customer received after his Order Matured/Pre-matured over a period of time, is dependent on an External factor like Gold price etc. Some of the modules of this system are:

The more actions performed at each stage, the more will be total expenses incurred by the company.

A log is maintained for the drills made. Alarm is provided at a regular interval to remind the operator to contact the caller again until he gets the help.
