Nick turns over and his arm hits an empty pillow. He wakes up to see Tina isn�t there. He listens for a second and realizes that she is in the shower. He tip toes over to the bathroom, pushes the door open and opens the shower curtain, just a bit, so he can see the water gliding over her beautiful, ivory skin. He startles her and hops in. He grabs her and turns her around and kisses her deeply.
"I love you Tina."
"I love you Nick."
They both lather up and let the water rinse the suds off. They stand in the warmness of the water while in each other�s arms.
They step out of the shower, one at a time and grab the big, soft, fluffy towels and dry each other off. Wrapping the towel around her, she leaves the bathroom and goes and get dressed. Standing there in the bathroom, Nick runs his fingers thru his hair just so. He wraps his towel around his waist.
As Tina has her back turned, he slips into his boxer briefs and puts on his plaid lounge pants. He plans on spending the day in the room, with her and spend all day learning more about her. She attempts to hook her bra. Noticing that she is having a problem, Nick walks over and tries to hook it. His cold hands on her back, makes her jump. They giggle and she puts on her big Abercrombie and Fitch sweatshirt and green plaid lounge pants.
The phone ringing startles them. Not the cell phones, but the room phone. Nick jumps up and gets it.
"Hello? Yeah. No, why? Do I have too? Can it wait?" Nick says as he slams the phone down.
"Tina, there is a press conference at 12. I have to do this I guess. Will you wait for me?"
"Sure Nick. I am just going to venture out to my hotel and get some things and let Pam and Kristie know I am ok. Don�t worry. I understand that this is what you do. It's fine." She walks up to him and places a kiss on his cheek.
Nick grabs his watch and earrings off the dresser and heads for the door. He turns to see Tina staring out the window.
"I�ll be back. I�ll call ya when I am done."
"I will be waiting." She runs up to him and kisses him. "That�s what will be waiting for you to get back." Tina smirks.
"Hey! No fair!" He opens the door and says, "Bye babe."
"Bye."
As soon as he shuts the door, she grabs his pillow and takes in his scent. She sighs and grabs her cell. Dialing the number quickly, she plops down on the couch.
"Hurry answer!" She says to herself.
"Hello?!"
"OMG Pam! Nick is incredible!" She lets out a deep sigh.
"Oh yeah" So IT happened?" Pam asks curiously.
"Yeah it did."
"Did you tell him he was your first?"
"No, Pam. I didn�t. I want to tell him later."
"Well, where is he?"
"He had a press conference he had to go to. I am sitting here in his suite, smelling his damn pillow."
"Wow girl. You got it bad."
"Yeah I know. But you know what? I would do this all over again the same way. I knew it was right. Listen, I am going to come over as soon as he gets back. Maybe we can all do dinner. That�s if he isn�t busy. I do know for a fact he is leaving tomorrow night."
"Tina really? Girl I am so sorry."
"I know. He doesn�t know that I know. I am going to make him promise me that he will keep in touch. I think I got him though. He told me he loved me last night."
"Wow, girl. I can�t believe it. I am so glad. You deserve to be happy, after that awful relationship with Trevor. See you saved it for the right guy."
The suite phone rings. As it rings again, she tells Pam, "Listen I gotta go. The phone is ringing. It may be Nick. Ill call you later." She flips the top back on the phone.
She answers the phone and recognizes the voice. It�s Nick.
"Be ready babe. This is going to be only 20 minutes. I want to take you somewhere. It�s a surprise. So please don�t ask cause I wont tell." He grins as he holds the Walt Disney World tickets in his hand. He had them close one section of the park, so they could enjoy it alone.
Tina notices that 15 minutes has gone by. She has been sitting there all that time holding his pillow.
"Tina stop being so silly. You don�t want to scare him away." She utters to herself.
She gets changed into some shorts, shirt, and sneakers and puts her hair up. She has no idea what he has in planned but she is sure it will be a great time.
When all of the sudden, she hears the door crack open. It�s Nick and he is trying to surprise her yet again.
She hears him but pays him no mind. He creeps up to her on the couch and covers her eyes with his big hands.
"Guess who?" He says disguising his voice.
"Hmm. Trevor?!?!" She says sarcastically.
"Um no. Better. Look." He uncovers her eyes, and places the tickets in her hand.
"Oh wow! I have never been there. Nick this is the sweetest thing."
"Wait it gets better. Did you ever hear about Epcot Centers Famous Fireworks Display? We have the French quarter of Epcot to ourselves. They tell me it�s the best place in the whole park to see the display."
"Oh Nick. You are the best! Thank you so much!"
"But Tina there is one problem."
"What is it?" She knew what was coming; she just didn�t want to hear it.
" I�m leaving for LA tomorrow night." He brushes the tears from his eyes.
"I know. Nick, I�ve known. It won�t matter if we are far apart. You will always have my heart. No matter where I am, just think of me and I will be there. You are done with the tour soon aren�t you?"
"Yes I am. But in January I leave for Europe. Its for 6 weeks."
"I understand Nick. I really do." She walks up to him, grabs his hand and shows him to the couch.
"Would you consider coming with me? I mean I can make you my personal assistant so money and a job wouldn�t be a problem."
Getting all excited, she says without a hesitation, "Yes Nick! Yes!"
They embrace for what seems like a lifetime, when Nick says,
"Lets go. We got a busy day."
Chapter 6
They walk hand and hand thru the park. Nick rushes her to his favorite ride, Its A Small World. They giggle as they get in line. No one notices that it�s THE Nick Carter. Thank god, Nick likes it that way. Especially since this relationship is new and he doesn�t want to scare her away. Not the he would mind you.
"Nick? You like this ride?"
"Yes I do. It�s so cute. Wait, you�ll see."
He climbs into the boat and takes her hand and helps her into the boat. The boat fills up and the ride begins. Just then the boat goes thru a little cave leading into a world that has come to life magically with dolls from all over the world singing, Its A Small World. She leans over and kisses his cheek. She actually loves how sensitive he is. He is so not a bad boy. She is excited to be learning more about him. They hold hands all thru the different countries of singing dolls. After that ride, they head straight to Magic Mountain. Being afraid of roller coasters and all, she follows behind him closely, and waits impatiently to get on.
"Don�t be scared Tina, I will be right there. Nothing bad will happen."
"Nick are you positive? I mean can you guarantee me 100% that NOTHING will happen?"
"Well..."
She cuts him off, "No you cant."
"You will be sitting between my legs. Don�t worry. I will make sure that they don�t put us in the front."
Just as he promised, he told the attendant, a cute girl who actually recognized him, about them not wanting to be in the front. So she puts them into the back of the very next car. They take off in an instant, and by the time she knows it, the ride is over.
"See, I told you it wasn�t bad." He giggles out loud.
Catching her breath, she says, "Yeah sure. Whatever you say Nick." As she punches him in the arm.
"Ouchie. That hurt!" He says in his little kid voice.
"Hmmph. Serves you right." Tina says as she walks away.
Nick runs up to her, picks her up and gives her a tender hug. They are both laughing now and Nick says its time to go to Epcot Center.
They grab the nearest transportation that would take them there. They head straight for the Bistro de Paris. To her amazement, he has rented out the WHOLE restaurant. On the table, are candles, with the faintest, most romantic music. He orders their dinners, which just happens to be flamb�. She is impressed with dinner. Not one word is spoken. They speak with their eyes. After dessert, they head for the World Showcase Promenade Lagoon. About 30 minutes later, Illuminations starts. Just as the first burst of light start, Tina turns to Nick and tells him what she has been meaning to tell him from last night.
"Nick, it�s important. I need to tell you something."
"Hmm?" He turns to her.
"Last night, when we made love, you were my first."
"I was your first? You mean you were a virgin?"
"Yes Nick I was."
"Wow. Incredible. I mean it was special to begin with. But now, knowing this, it�s more special."
He pulls her closer, gives her a big hug and then kisses her ever so softly. As the fireworks go off, they sit there holding hands their hands ever closing tighter by the minute. After the fireworks, Nick says:
"Would you go on the Ferris wheel with me?"
"What kind of question is that? Of course."
They head to the Ferris wheel and get into their own car. As they go up and over, the look over Disney. It is such a beautiful site, Cinderella�s Castle lit up and the lights over the entire park. He leans in and kisses her. Getting off the ride, Nick calls Ron to tell him to bring the Escalade up to the entrance. He can tell there is going to be a problem getting out, so they sneak into a gift shop.
Nick tells Tina to pick out whatever she wants and hands her his American Express Card. She picks out a shirt, a key chain, a magnet, and a snow globe of Cinderella�s Castle. Seeing the group of people leave, Nick knows now is the time to go. They walk out the gates and as soon as they get in, the same group of fans notices, and starts screaming. Ron slams the door shut and hops in. About an hour later, they arrive at their hotel. They are let off at the door to the hotel. Getting into their room, Tina goes into the bathroom to freshen up. Nick is left alone to think.
"Tonight I am going to show her how much I care." Nick mumbles to her.
He takes off his shirt, and shoes, and settles down on the couch. As he is sitting there in deep thought, Tina comes out of the bathroom. He glances over at her and says, "Come here."
Tina does and she sits on his lap. He bites his lip so he doesn�t tear up and says, "You have made me so happy. I know making love to me was special, I want you to know telling me I was your first is probably the best thing that has ever happened. I mean there are girls who would sleep with me just because I am Nick Carter. I know that I mean something to you."
"Nick, I didn�t tell you this to make you feel bad. I wasn�t going to tell you until Pam said too. I saved myself for you."
"I... don�t�know what to say. Other than I love you."
Just as he said that, Tina turns so she is facing Nick sitting on his lap.
She asks him, "Will you do me a favor?"
"Sure Tina, anything."
"Will you sing part of I Need You Tonight? I just always had this fantasy of it playing as I made love to you for the first time. The emotion in that song, Nick it takes everything I have not to cry. If you sing it, it will be better than having it play on the stereo."
"Sure." Nick begins with the following line:
