Thomas Pomeroy 1591 received a pardon of outlawry at the suit of John Stukeley In 592 a commission of rebellion to Thomas Ford and 6 other gentlemen of Middlesex, was at the suit of Thomas Ford appointed to attach Pomerey.
Leonard Pomerey 1599 by 1629 John Blytheman Mayor of Plymouth and another forwarded in September 1598 to the Council Pomerey demanded of his bark sent hence to discover the enemy. The amount asked was �164/13/8 but the bark was not successful (bark = boat) He was named in 1611 as a merchant trading to France, being one of 13 masters of the corporation of Plymouth. He died in 1629
John Pomerey. With Peter Francys a defendant in a action brought by Peter Doggon to be relieved of certain bonds. The lands mentioned are Kill Park or the Great Park and Martins Park at Staverton (Close to Totnes) the inheritance of the plaintiff and by him devised to the defendant Pomerey

Pascoe Pomeroy - 1638 gentleman, aged 38, of St Clement Danes in Westminster on 8 January 1638 obtained a licence from the Bishops of London to marry Elizabeth Wilson, her parents being dead, a maiden of 30 of St Dionis Backchurch at St Clements Danes or St Michaels Bassishaw
John Pomeroy 1611 was a sizar of Emmanuel College Cambridge graduating BA in 1615 and MA in 1619. Ordained as deacon in York 1637. Possibly master of Beverley School in 1630 and held the living and rectory of Brandsby Yorkshire 1650. He was ejected from his living in 1662 and died soon after. (Sizar was a student of Cambridge University or Trinity College Dublin who paid reduced fees and acted as a servitor at the college)
