Richard Pomerey 1543 and his son Hugh disposed of premises in Magna Totnes Bowden in Totnes Tybecombee Asprington and Ayssepryngton in 1543 to John and William Giles. He acquired the manor of Woodley from Lawrence Bradmere and premises in Axminster and sold premises at Widecombe to John Charlys. Nicholas Pomerey 1543 named as one of the parishioners of Our lady of Radclyffe as sueing the mayor of Bristol. Henry Pomerey and his wife Agnes relinquished premises in Westbarn and St Buddokkex St Budeux in Plymouth to Robert Kempe in 1546. Henry Pomeroy 1554 a gentleman of Bristol named on the pardon roll of Mary I Mary Pomerey. Died 1570 was a nun of Cornworthy later a pensioner at Polsloe Priory.nr Exeter Thomas Pomeroy 1591 received a pardon of outlawry at the suit of John Stukeley In 592 a commission of rebellion to Thomas Ford and 6 other gentlemen of Middlesex, was at the suit of Thomas Ford appointed to attach Pomerey. Leonard Pomerey 1599 by 1629 John Blytheman Mayor of Plymouth and another forwarded in September 1598 to the Council Pomerey demanded of his bark sent hence to discover the enemy. The amount asked was �164/13/8 but the bark was not successful (bark = boat) He was named in 1611 as a merchant trading to France, being one of 13 masters of the corporation of Plymouth.
