04 Apr1851 Elizabeth Pomeroy charged with  begging in the Cathedral Yard by S.Kingdon ; Insp Fouraker Bench admonished & discharged

20 Jan Mary Pomeroy & Caroline Garland charged with Wilfully breaking glass in Exeter by  John Bragg  Insp Woolcott Bench; Committed 7 days each

16 Jan1850 Robert Pomeroy shoe maker Exeter  chargesdwith Receiving property knowing it to be stolen by Insp Fulford Insp Ellecombe   10 days in prison

25 Dec Robert Pomeroy shoe maker Exeter  charged being drunk and disorderly & use of obscene Language in West Street & with drawing aknife & wounding Pc Bray. arrested by  PC#22 Wm Bray and PC #28 Geo Starke # Bench  Insp Fulford  20/= fine for the first charge or 1month5/= for the second charge or 1 month with hard labour to run consecutively
      
Stolen from Pomeroys and paid a heavy price

Mary Ann Jenkin of Mevagissey, singlewoman, indicted for taking 6 yards of printed cotton, value 6d., property of Benjamin Andrew; also for taking two lace caps, a piece of plaiting net, a yard of net, a box of "Sewing Cotton Balls", and a yard of gingham, each valued at 6d., property of Walter Pomery Walkom: six months in Launceston gaol.

Mary Ann, wife of John Bennetto of St. Stephen in Brannel, lab., indicted for taking 15 yds. of calico, 2 yards of printed cotton, and 2 pairs of braces, property of William Pomery Walkom. Also indicted for taking 6 yards of "persian", property of Mary Russell: transported for 7 years.
