Recent DNA testing connects us to Charles Wilson Pomeroy in the States and to Harriet Pomeroy in Dublin.We already knew we had a connection to Richard Tony Pomeroy in Australia

I live in Devon, my cousin lives in Sussex and we met through our delving into our genealogy on the Net. We are third cousins having a shared great, great grand-father, Augustus Stephen Pomeroy. SEE OUR PAGE
We did not know of each others existence until we got the genealogy bug. Its rather delightful to discover an unknown family member.
We have an Australian cousin called Richard Anthony Pomeroy, known as Tony, who has been searching for the family's roots for a very long time.He is now in his 80's and not in the best of health but he is still searching! Its thrilling to be able to tell him we have found what he has been looking for with some extra siblings as well.
There is also Harriet Pomeroy the cousin in Ireland, researching her branch there as is Chuck Pomeroy in USA
He is looking for his Ole' Richard , who came from Ireland, after giving his school books to his sister one afternoon and instructing her to' Tell Mother we are off to Free America' and taking ship with his brother to find his fortune in America.
