If I may be so bold as to advance a notion I have lately been entertaining, and inquire as to whether it has been done before, and if so, how it was accomplished and with what success:
Have the fair ladies of either sex in this Clan affixed the Bluefeather device on the favors they grant to the gallant champions of either sex who fight for their honor? Have they ever asked these champions to fight for their honor at tournaments or battles coincident to the mundane feast days that celebrate our pride? Might we not do so as a Clan, each making an especial favor with the Bluefeather device, the charge perchance in the lighter blue color that denotes our friends and loyal supporters, to be worn and given to the fighters of our choosing on the feast days of our pride? Mayhap there could be a light blue feather on one side, and a dark blue one on the reverse, and the fighter could choose which side to display.
Would this not serve the noble purpose of raising a friendly and most chivalrous cognizance of our presence in the Known World? I am most grateful for your thoughts on this my proposal.
